Get updates as the Civic Hub grows → About the data Forecasts are cached for 30 minutes, alerts for one minute, and each traffic feed for two minutes. The visible page requests a refresh every two minutes unless paused. An alert snapshot at least one minute old receives an additional source check before it is shown; if that check fails, the saved snapshot keeps its original retrieval time. Other feeds may return the prior snapshot while a server update runs. Retrieval timestamps are not changed by failed updates.
Age warnings continue to update while paused: forecasts become stale after two hours, alerts after five minutes, and traffic after ten minutes. Forecast issue times older than 18 hours receive a separate warning. Successfully retrieving a feed does not guarantee that every agency record is current.
